Practice Fees at Rainbow Beach General Practice

Rainbow Beach General Practice is a mixed billing clinic. This means some patients may be eligible for bulk billing, while others will incur a private consultation fee with a Medicare rebate where applicable.

Important Billing Information

• Bulk billing is available for:

  • Pensioner Concession Card holders

  • Veteran (DVA) Gold and White Card holders

  • Healthcare Card holders

  • Children under 16 years

• Patients without a concession card will incur a private consultation fee, payable on the day of the appointment.

• Fees vary depending on the type and length of consultation. Medicare rebates can be processed on the spot for eligible patients.

Booking the Right Appointment

• Standard appointments are suitable for one or two health concerns.

• Long consultations are recommended for multiple or more complex issues to ensure adequate time and care.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend your appointment, please contact the clinic as early as possible. A cancellation fee may apply for appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice.
